CITY READY TO HOST SECOND LEG OF REGIONAL BUSINESS FAIR.

 

EThekwini Municipality is gearing up to host the second leg of the Regional Business Fair, which will take place at the North Region, in Bridge City Mall, KwaMashu on 15-17 July. Registration is now open for exhibitors who want to promote and market their products.

The business fair is a practical platform that allows Small, Medium and Micro- sized Enterprises (SMMEs) and big businesses to connect with other sectors.

Following the huge success of the South Regional Fair, the North Regional Fair promises to be bigger and better, providing exhibition space to more than 200 exhibitors.

Mayor James Nxumalo said hosting Regional  Fairs demonstrates the crucial role played by SMMEs in economic growth, particularly in the restructuring of the economic base of local municipalities.

“The growing interest in the Regional Fairs affirms the importance to support the small business sector as a key driver to economic development and that it is a vital engine of job creation,” said Nxumalo

The North Regional Fair has a line-up of new activities and programmes that will help small businesses.

Registration is open and forms are now available. Closing date for registration is 06 July 2016. Registration is on a first come first serve bases as space is limited.
