Poise, Practice and Posture is all in a day’s learning for the new faces of DFF 2017.

Over 40 designers including seven from Africa will take to the ramp in 16 shows at the Inkosi Albert Luthuli International Convention Centre from the 23rd August to the 25th of August.

The excitement is definitely building for the annual event as there will be a DFF Recognition Awards Show on Saturday, August 26th which honours and recognises the top designers and models taking part in the DFF 2017.

Showcasing for the sixth year as part of the eThekwini Municipality’s Fashion Development Programme, the DFF has been wowing designers, the media, fashion buyers and the public as it brings out the very best in local fashion with top class shows that allow local creative’s to strut their stuff alongside the best in the world.

The Municipality has invested in internships, industry related training programmes, networking sessions as well as various lifestyle and modelling programmes and boot camps over the years, which the current “crop” of New Faces are now experiencing.

On the 1st of August, catch the DFF New Faces Model Competition on the facebook page to vote for your favourite model and stand in line to win double tickets to the opening night show!

So, don’t miss out on the glitz and the glamour.
