Durbanites had a real treat this weekend when they were able  to get their favorite froyo on the go! Wakaberry has launched it’s Wakaberry – On – The – Move bus  or Waka Busand it  rolled into Suncoast for the weekend. It brought back many memories of the ice cream trucks that paraded our neighbourhoods as children.

Can you imagine anything better than enjoying your favorite froyo on the go, whilst basking in the perfect blue skies and sunshine at the beach? The Waka Bus which drove into the Suncoast amphitheatre this weekend was a hit! Even the cold weather did not stop people from visiting the Froyo Foodtruck. Queues of people waited patiently for their favourite Froyo.

As mentioned previously on I Love Durban, Wakaberry has pledged it’s support to Breast Cancer Awareness month by selling pink ribbons and providing Breast Cancer Awareness workshops at their stores. Ladies were be able to educate themselves about breast cancer and have themselves checked out at the mobile breast check unit.

Yoghurt is a great way to get some of the recommended daily dose of dairy into your diet. Rich in nutrients, including essential minerals and vitamins for overall body health yoghurt is also a great source of additional calcium, magnesium, potassium, phosphorus, selenium and zinc, which are important for the healthy  bones, teeth and for the function of the nervous and immune systems.

So Durbanites, it is healthy, you can enjoy it on the beach on this prefect day. Go out there and get your Froyo on the go.
