A video of man going down the “Loop The Loop” water slide at the Wild Waves Water Park at the Wild Coast Sun has gone viral! The video was posted by Brian Ortner, and has received almost 2 million views on YouTube and been shared over a quarter of a million times on Facebook!

The video was first uploaded onto the Facebook page of a radio station in the USA. Since it has been uploaded and viewed, the most popular question is where the ride is located. To many, the water park looks looks like it could be in America or even Brazil. Not many people thought it would be our beautiful city.

The video, which is shot on a Go Pro, sees Brian’s experience through the terrifying ride. Brain has numerous videos up on YouTube capturing many of his adrenalin filled adventures, although this particular one has been the most popular.

World Class Water Park

The Wild Waves Water park, which opened a few years ago has been a tremendous success for the Wild Coast Sun. It offers the perfect fun time out for families during the hot summer days.

The scenic background of our our beautiful ocean, coupled with the world class rides is up there with international standards. The Wild Coast Sun has stated that many of their rides are imported from Canada and guarantee you a thrill.

The “Loop The Loop” which is the most daring of all the rides see thrill seekers stepping into capsule. Once the capsule closes, an automated voice counts you down from 3. At the end of the countdown the floor disappears and you plummet through the ride, the momentum allowing you to go through the loop.

If you are a bit less darning and prefer not to have your heart in your mouth, there are a number of other rides to choose from.
