This past Women’s Day, Chris Saunders Park was bustling with friends and families who enjoyed good food and music at the Buco Umhlanga Food and Music Festival featuring Matthew Mole.

The Buco Food and Music Festival saw durbanites sit back, relax and enjoy great sounds and delicious food of local talent!
Good vibes beamed across the park as everyone was seen jamming to proudly South African music and innovative craft food and drink!

The crowd was serenaded by Matthew Mole who sang musical favourite hits like:

  • Take Yours
  • I’ll Take Mine
  • Run
  • Holding on and more.

The recently SAMA award nominee got the crowd on their feet and singing along to his infectious voice.

That’s not all, if you were not at the Buco Food and Music Festival, you missed out on some seriously good food from the likes of:

  • Afro’s Chicken
  • Republik
  • Roti & Chai
  • Carrilho’s
  • Timmy’s Moist Biltong
  • Loophole
  • Inca and Tato Twist

Local eateries got to show off their culinary versatility and while

Other food trends that were at the Festival ranged from:

  • Burgers
  • Chicken strips
  • Indian street food
  • Chicken prego rolls
  • Peri-peri livers
  • Espetada
  • Flatbreads with gourmet toppings and potato twisters.

The drinks were definitely flowing with a Gin and Tonic Garden that served a wide variety of flavours!
