Durban Motion Pictures is a dynamic Durban based independent film and television Production Company co founded and managed by renowned film producer Bonie Sithebe and film director/ Scriptwriter Philani Sithebe. We produce a slate of unique, exciting, original high definition broadcast films and documentaries. From concept development, scripting, shooting and post production.

Durban Motion Pictures has evolved significantly since its founding in 2006 into this ever-changing world of television and multimedia. The company has produced more than ten films, including shorts and Documentaries broadcast by national television stations such as Mnet and SABC.

Some of our work has been screened at the Durban International Film Festival. This year promises to be our biggest yet with four productions produced since the beginning of the year. In addition to film productions DMP has just opened a distribution wing where emerging filmmakers supply their work to be assessed by Mnet’s Mzansi Magic for possible Television screenings.
