Durban Paint and Hardware (DPH), a widely recognised company in both the wholesale and retail sector. A sales man in a hardware store who became a successful entrepreneur, Rosen Thambiran started a paint and hardware business in a small rented out warehouse in central Durban, in August 1995.
In February 2000 DPH expanded its operation into the greater Durban area, with hard work, focus and determination we became suppliers of a wide range of S.A’s finest branded products such as; Plascon, Lasher Tools, Academy Brushware, Spectra, A.B.E, Sika, Bosch, Cobra, W.H.D, Genkem, Fragram Tools, Marshal Tools, Matus, Webco Tools, Alkaline and many others. DPH’s customer range grew significantly and tapped into new markets such as; Government departments, EThekwini Municipality, S.A Post office, Transnet and the Private sector.
In October 2008, DPH extended and progressed into a new, bigger and better building, 52 Stalwart Similane Street, which provides customers with a broad selection of products and expert advice.
