Hickory’s pawn shop has been trading since 1982. It has been a family business since 1987 and is currently owned and managed by father and son duo, Mornay and Byron. They took the business over in December 2001. Hickory#1 has established itself as a leader in the second hand goods exchange industry and has a credible reputation for providing exceptional service to their clients. Situated in a dense populated area the company provides easy access to the community for trade. The father and son duo has successfully managed to grow the business from a small corner pawnshop to a pioneering business assisting privates and corporates alike.

We also lend money against collateral, like cell phones, jewellery, antiques, tools, electronic equipment, motor vehicles, boats and even aero planes. We also buy items outright from the public. Qualified assessors will come to your residence or offices to give you a professional assessment on the items you would like to sell.
