The team from First Group’s Selborne Golf Estate, Hotel & Spa have answered an urgent appeal to help 24 families in the Pennington community.

The call for support for the vulnerable families was made by the Pennington Community Watch and touched the heart of Selborne Hotel’s Head Chef, Colleen Mulholland. Chef Colleen joined forces with Chef Danielle Venter of Unilever Food Solutions to do what they do best – supply delicious and nutritious food. Together with the Selborne team, the two Chefs not only delivered 260 litres of soup but donations of toys, clothing and bedding as well. “It was wonderful to see how the Selborne Estate team rallied together to help these families in whatever way they could,” says Chef Colleen. “The families were so appreciative. It was a wonderful reminder that giving – specially in these tough times – is not only about making a donation, it is about making a difference.”
