Durban Will Be Hosting Everything From Parties To Markets To Movies! Check Our Event List Of Everything To Do In Durban This Friday Night!
Rage Festival 2014
The party begins tonight for many as the Rage Festival 2014 kicks off 2 weeks of raging fun in Umhlanga and Ballito. The Rage Festival is celebrating 10 years of serving up the hottest party to thousands of youth revelers, enjoying freedom from exams and the beginnings of an epic summer holiday. Where better to do that than on the beautiful northern coastline of Kwa-Zulu Natal.
In 2013, the introduction of the Sound Factory revolutionized the Rage Festival venue and offered a central party hub for the hottest international DJ’s, the biggest local names in EDM and hip-hop, and the most energetic and trendy youth.
The legendary nightclubs, Crush in Ballito and XS Nightclub are accessible to all passport holders into the early hours as the party continues. For the energetic and active Rager, there are loads of daytime activities on the beautiful beaches like volleyball, touch rugby, soccer and more; or for a more relaxed vibe, there are many chill areas and cool activations for that power nap or recharge session.
We hope that all the passport holders have a blast and remember to party safe.
Leading Lady – At Movie Theatres Today
This charming romantic comedy will be opening on the movie circuit today. Locally produced and staring a great line up, including international model and actress Katie McGrath. Directed by Henk Pretorius who brought us Labola and Bakgat, Leading Lady is about an actress from Britain. A Boer from Brandfort. A town destined for Hollywood.
Leading Lady tells the story of an aspiring British actress, Jodi Rutherford, who persuades Kobus Willemse, a South African farmer (boer) from Brandfort, to prepare her for a role in a major film as an Afrikaans war heroine. In return Jodi undertakes to arrange and direct the annual concert at the Willemse farm. The movie has a great local cast and a script to have many in fits of giggles.
