Kids Reptile Show

Kids will be delighted and thrilled with the demonstrations and talks that are part of the Kids Reptile Show taking place at the Pavilion today. Little ones will have a chance to learn more about the reptile world, as the show is interactive. Note to many, there will be snakes at the event as part of the show. The reptile show will be followed by a tent building competition for little ones to show off their skills. A great treat and great entertainment for the little ones as you make some headway through your Christmas shopping at the Pavilion.

Kicking off summer in one of the most popular spots for summer will be the Umhlanga Summer Festival. Umhlanga, with it’s beautiful golden beach and breathtaking views plays hosts to this amazing summer festival. Beach goers today will be treated to the Lizzard Hurricane Surf Pro. This popular event brings together some of the top surfing pros from around the country, showing off their talents in a bid to be crowned best surfer. Up and coming little ones can have a go with their dads in the “Ballies” division, with kids as young at 5 years old allowed to surf in the competition.
Other entertainment is for the whole family, from grannies and grandpas to the little tots. Chose from face painting, to beach volleyball, promenade walks and other awesome ways to enjoy the Durban summer in Umhlanga.

SOS 2 Reptile Expo

Reptile fans in Durban make sure that you get yourself over to the SOS2 Reptile Expo. The biggest expo of its kind in South Africa, it sees a host of international visitors jetting in just for the show. Whether you are coming just to look through and learn more about these fascinating creatures or whether you want to purchase some, this expo is not to be missed. If you are quite brave and a reptile fan, make sure that you get over to this event.
Those attending please note, you will not be able to attend with your own reptiles or pets. Children under 12 years old must be accompanied by an adult. Children under the age of 18 will not be sold any venomous reptiles.
The expo is hosted at Crawford La Lucia. The show opens at 9am ad runs until 4pm today. Tickets are R40 for adults and R20 for kids.

Party In The Park – Electro Lumo Party

Music lovers and party goers are in for a massive treat as the this month’s Party In The Park will be an Elecrto Lumo Themed Party. The monthly Party In The Park has successfully hosted a number of great events with people partying in the fresh outdoors, surround by the natural beauty of Chris Saunders Park. Those attending today can get their best Lumo gear together to glow in the dark as the party goes on into the late night, showing off the glow in the dark luminosity that is Lumo!
Event line up includes, Veranda Panda, Chocolate Milk, Funky B, Royal Love and many more. The party kicks off at midday at Chris Saunders Park. Tickets are R100 via Computicket and R120 at the door.

Benny Dayal Live In Concert

Bollywood music entertainer Benny Dayal will be performing tonight at the Durban City Hall tonight. The popular singer, hailing from Kerela in India has had a few number one Bollywood tracks to his name. Some include Badtameez Dil, Besharami Kil Height and the chart topping number one from Bang Bang will be on his performance list tonight. Bollywood fans make sure¬† that you don’t miss this amazing performer, live in concert for one night only. Dayal is known for his phenomenal stage performances so you will be in for a treat.
The show starts at 7:30pm. Ticket prices range from R150 – R750 and will be hosted at the Durban City Hall.
